Terms & Conditions
Last updated 10 September 2026
1. Acceptance of These Terms
These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of Guess the Grid ("we", "us", "the Site") and every prediction, entry, and prize draw offered on it. By creating an account you accept these Terms in full โ if you don't agree to them, don't create an account or use the Site.
These Terms sit alongside Rules & T&Cs (how each game mode is scored and paid out) and the free postal entry route for Package Deals. Where those pages describe specific mechanics in more detail, they form part of these Terms.
2. Definitions
"Entry" means a single Qualifying, Grid Predictor, or DNF Predictor prediction, or a single Package Deals raffle ticket. "Free bets" means bonus wallet funds (admin credit or another non-cash source) that can't be withdrawn as cash โ Qualifying, Grid Predictor, and DNF Predictor entries no longer cost anything, so this pool isn't used to pay for them any more. "Deposited funds" means real, withdrawable money in your account โ money you've added yourself, or a cash prize we've credited you (see Section 8). "Race weekend" means one round of the applicable racing calendar, covering its Qualifying and Race sessions.
3. Eligibility
You must be 18 or older to create an account or make any entry, paid or free. We verify this against the photo ID you provide at signup โ see Section 5.
You may hold one account only. A second account, whether under your own name or someone else's, may result in both accounts being suspended and any entries or winnings on them voided.
You must be the sole legal owner of the funds you deposit, and the sole beneficial owner of your account โ entering on someone else's behalf, or letting someone else use your account, is not permitted.
4. Your Account
You're responsible for keeping your password secure and for all activity on your account. Tell us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access.
The information you give us at signup (name, date of birth, address, contact details) must be accurate and kept up to date. We may ask you to re-verify any of it at any time.
We may suspend or close an account, and withhold or void entries and winnings on it, where we reasonably suspect fraud, a breach of these Terms, or unlawful activity. Where we do this without a specific breach on your part, any deposited funds balance will still be returned to you.
5. Identity Verification
Every account's photo ID is checked against the name and date of birth given at signup before any paid entry unlocks. This is currently a manual review โ see your account status on your profile page.
We may request further identity or address documentation at any time, including before paying out a prize, and may decline to process an entry or a payout until we're satisfied it's been provided.
6. How the Games Work
Guess the Grid offers three predictions each race weekend โ Qualifying, Grid Predictor, and DNF Predictor, all completely free to enter โ plus the separate, paid Package Deals prize draws. Exactly how each is played, scored, and paid out (entry limits, lock times, weekly prize tiers) is set out in full on Rules & T&Cs, which forms part of these Terms.
Guess the Grid's Qualifying and Grid Predictor predictions are a test of skill and judgement โ predicting a real sporting outcome โ not a game of chance. No stake is placed on either, since both are free to enter.
7. Your Wallet & Package Deals Entries
Qualifying, Grid Predictor, and DNF Predictor don't cost anything to enter โ there's no fee to take from your wallet, and nothing to refund if you cancel one (see Section 10). Package Deals raffles remain paid entries, at ยฃ1 each (or free by post โ see Section 9).
Your balance is still split into two pools: free bets (bonus funds, can't be withdrawn) and deposited funds (real, withdrawable money โ including any cash prize you've won, see Section 8). A Package Deals entry is always paid from deposited funds, never free bets.
You can set a deposit limit on your account (daily, weekly, or monthly) from your profile at any time โ see Section 12.
8. Prizes & Payouts
The only cash prize on the Site right now is paid to whoever tops a race's Weekly leaderboard โ separately for Qualifying and for Grid Predictor. The Overall and Team leaderboards don't pay out for now, and whether they ever will is still to be decided. Full prize tiers, tie-splitting, and how correct calls are counted are set out in Rules & T&Cs. Any cash prize is credited to your deposited funds balance โ real, withdrawable money โ not your free bets balance; Package Deals draw entries won as part of a prize are credited automatically alongside it.
You're responsible for any tax that may apply to a prize you win. We don't provide tax advice.
We may withhold a prize pending identity verification (Section 5) or an investigation under Section 11, and will pay it once that's resolved in your favour.
9. Package Deals Prize Draws
Package Deals raffles can be entered by paying ยฃ1 per entry, or entirely free by post โ see how to enter free for the full method, address, and terms of that route, which form part of these Terms. A free postal entry carries exactly the same odds of winning as a paid entry.
A drawn winner has a set window to confirm they want the prize (see the confirmation deadline shown on the package itself) โ if they don't respond in time, the prize is redrawn from the remaining entrants.
Package Deals entries are non-refundable once made. Unlike Qualifying, Grid Predictor, and DNF Predictor (Section 10), a raffle entry can't be cancelled after purchase, whether bought with deposited funds or a free entry โ it's locked into the draw immediately.
10. Cancellations & Errors
This section covers Qualifying, Grid Predictor, and DNF Predictor entries โ Package Deals entries follow their own rule (Section 9) and can't be cancelled once made.
You can cancel or edit a Qualifying, Grid Predictor, or DNF Predictor entry any time before it locks, from the Bets tab. None of the three cost anything to enter, so there's nothing to refund either way โ cancelling just removes the entry.
If a technical error, data error, or an event outside our control (for example, an incorrect result being published and later corrected) affects the fairness of a prediction, a weekly prize payout, or a draw, we may void the affected entries, rescore them against the corrected result, and adjust or reverse any prize already credited on the strength of the incorrect result.
11. Prohibited Conduct
You must not, and must not attempt to:
- hold more than one account;
- use false, borrowed, or another person's identity to register or verify an account;
- collude with another entrant to gain an unfair advantage in a prediction or draw;
- use automated tools, scripts, or bots to enter predictions or the Package Deals draws;
- exploit a bug, error, or unintended behaviour of the Site for gain, rather than reporting it to us;
- submit a photocopied, mechanically reproduced, or otherwise duplicated free postal entry beyond what Section 9 allows;
- attempt to reverse, dispute, or charge back a payment other than through a genuine billing error.
Breaching any of these may result in your account being suspended or closed, and any affected entries or winnings being voided.
12. Responsible Gambling
Gambling can be addictive โ please play within your means. You can set or change a deposit limit from your profile at any time; a new lower limit applies immediately, and a higher one takes effect after a short cooling-off period.
You can ask us to close or self-exclude your account at any time by contacting us (Section 19). Free, confidential support is available at BeGambleAware.org.
13. Intellectual Property
The Guess the Grid name, logo, and site design are our property. You may not copy, reproduce, or use them without our permission. Driver, team, and circuit names and imagery belong to their respective owners and are used for identification purposes only.
14. Liability
We provide the Site "as is" and don't guarantee it will always be available, error-free, or uninterrupted. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we aren't liable for losses arising from your use of the Site beyond the amount of any entry fee or deposit directly affected, except where the law doesn't allow that limit to apply (for example, death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or fraud).
15. Data Protection
We collect the personal data needed to run your account, verify your identity, and pay out winnings โ including your name, date of birth, address, contact details, and photo ID. We handle it in line with UK data protection law and don't sell it to third parties. A full privacy policy setting out this in detail will be published here.
16. Complaints & Disputes
If something's gone wrong, contact us first (Section 19) โ most issues can be resolved directly. We'll aim to acknowledge a complaint promptly and resolve it as quickly as we reasonably can.
17. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time โ the "Last updated" date at the top will always reflect the current version. Where a change materially affects how an entry you've already made is scored or paid, that entry stays governed by the Terms in force when you made it.
18. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and any dispute arising from them is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
